Absolutely top drawer! It's great to see a magazine such as Q recognising one of the most successful and influential stars of the '80's in this way. I have been a big fan of Mr Ant since 1980 and, although he may not have been in the charts in recent years, the impact he (and the rest of the Ants) has had on other musicians (both then and today) is immense. After Adam's well documented illness and problems it really is great to see something positive like this, and also to see that Q and the industry do remember those real stars of yesteryear. Well done Q! In an era where Q awards often go to 'coffee table music' and the unashamedly retro, it's refreshing for someone genuinely innovative, truly iconic and massively influential at the time and today to get the recognition he deserves. 'Dirk....' and 'Wonderful' are still two of my favourite albums, and he's the only artist left I want to see but haven't..............time for new material and a tour Adam?!
