• mmmm I like Damon's music a lot. But has he really been an inspiration? I've heard that he can actually be a complete tosser. Is it just co-icidence that he's on the front of Q magazine this month? I think Q magazine give too many awards away themselves now. It should really be down to the readers.

• Damon knows how to reinvent his music and finding an untapped territory. every single piece he created is just soulful, culturally observant, but not pretentious. He is daring and don't give a damn about the trend. Not many people can find elements in world music into something so accesible and listenable to the mainstream ears. so hell yeah he's an inspiration.
