Breakthrough Artist Q Idol

• Don't get me wrong i love Q Magazine. Been buying it every month for the past 5 years but i wish the Q Awards wouldn't be so patronising to the good and the great of the music industry. What the hell is the difference between Q Icon, Q Idol, Q Inspiration, Q Legend, Q Hero and Q Lifetime Achievement? It seems like awards for awards sake.

• What has he done to deserve this award a bad album and a worse divorce is that what gets you iconic status.

  Remember that "The British Invasion" in the sixtees inspired even the US and he was one of the frontmen.
