Seeing as Squeeze are on the reunion trail, maybe it was an apt time to perhaps suggest the words of wit and wisdon of Chris Difford?

Yea, Chris Difford, what a genius he is, and never been recognised for his efforts to establishing the Brit Pop era. Never been recognised for much accept an Ivor Novello for 'Still Crazy' film. A man with an incredible catalogue of lyrics and along with Glenn Tilbrook, presented one of the best live bands I've ever seen in 'Squeeze'. Everyone knows at least one Chris Difford song, don't they. His first solo album is superb class. Can't fault Billy for his award, done a lot for causes and music over the years. Perhaps Chris's turn next year.
