YUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS okay soooooo there was clearly typo on the winning card for best act in the world today someone should get fired for that one! Muse will always b better than the wannabe indie losers called the arctic Monkeys see its even a bad name

GO MUSE! They shoulda won Best Act in the World - Wembley was incredible. Love you lads! And as for Artic Monkeys - they remind me of little boys playing in the school "battle of the bands" concerts you went to when you were a kid. Grrr.

WHERE THE F**K WERE FAITHLESS - THEY DESERVE THIS MORE THAN ANYONE EXCEPT MAYBE WHEN U2 ARE ON TOUR

yes again Muse, horray. They deserve this, have been on tour for like one year and a half?amazing.
And how Qmags define best live act and best act in the world anyway are there any differences?the two winners are all young age bands.have no problem with arctic monkeys and certainly dont consider Muse as best band - never title my favourite bands this fake fame.Posted by at 08:18 AM | October 9, 2007

Arcade Fire- easily should of won this, if Oasis,U2 and Stereophonics arent in this? what about Weller too and Ocean Colour Scene! The Hold Steady too! and what abou The Who they proved at Glasto they can still knock anyone out of the water when it comes to live!

Big love to Muse, they so deserved to win this after their amazing year of touring and the brilliant Wembley shows!
They were robbed of the best act in the world! The talent they have in the form of Matthew Bellamy can't be compared to anything or anyone, F*ck Alex Turner!Posted by at 04:50 PM | October 9, 2007

Yes muse have been very good. Ive seen them live and they were impressive. But that was 3 years ago. How many times have they won this award now? Too many methinks. Let someone else have a go. I saw Arcade Fire at this years Leeds festival and was blown away by them. FAR more than when i saw muse. Muse have been making the same kind of music (even using the same effects on their guitars on the latest album that they used on previous albums) for too long now. Not fully dissing them but I feel its time to grow a lil now and take a chance. When they first came out they sounded amazing. Sticking to the same formula dont always work tho (just ask Oasis. No offense to oasis either!)

Well done Muse, winning best live act again! They put on the best performances ever at Wembley and it is truely deserved. No other band comes close to beating them live!!
As much as i like the arctics, its too early for them to win a Best Act in the World award. Matt, Dom and Chris make up the best act in the world!!
Posted by at 08:43 PM | October 9, 2007

Of course they won. Was anyone doubting they would? If you've ever been to a Muse concert there would've been no doubt in your mind.

watch the glastenbury performance of arctic monkeys. MAGIC!!!

It's clearly, Muse IS the best live band on this planet. Everyone has to agree with that. But there's no reason to be al shitty 'bout other bands. The nominees are all great bands. But it's just clear that Muse is the best live act.

Muse just deserved to get this one... and the Best Act in the world as well. The nominees are great for sure but Muse just are better! Wasn't at Wembley but was at the Parc Des Princes show and this one blew my mind... I've seen them live plenty of times and let me tell you this, it is absolutely not repetitive! When you thought you've heard it all they somehow manage to find new ways to impress you... Just went to Bucharest and they played Invincible like they've never played it before... just did not sound the same... Listen carefully: there is always a detail that changes, they never play the song twice exactly the same way! So yeah they ABSOLUTELY deserve the awards.

MUSE are the bests!!
Yeahh!! I'm very happy!!!

i do agree with one of the comments above me saying that muse have won this award way too many times. muse have been making the same music for too long and its BORING. the arctic monkeys on the other hand have made two brilliant albums that sound very different. at least change your sound a bit.
Posted by at 08:34 AM | October 13, 2007
-
the arctic monkeys second album was incredibly great. i absolutley loved it so u can't say that its not great. it got great reviews and reached number 1.
maybe muse are better live but the arctic monkeys make better music.Posted by at 01:31 AM | October 14, 2007

Amazing band, amazing performing live acts, well deserve award.
Posted by at 06:24 AM | October 14, 2007

in my opinion arctic monkeys are better in any way possible than muse!
Posted by at 06:56 PM | October 17, 2007
-
Rolling Stones, Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand.......seen them all and no one comes close to the mighty MUSE!!! Without a doubt the BEST band i have ever seen! Most deinately deserved this award!

Why the Hell where Bloc Party not nominated. Their by far the best band around and here unnatural live much better the F**King Artaic B**t**Ds and the Killers. But Of The List Kasabian should ave won

I saw the Arctic Monkeys and Muse in the same evening this summer - Muse were by far the best. The Monkeys were disappointing to everyone - they seemed to put no effort into anything and looked like they really couldn't be bothered... But Q readers voted best :)
Posted by at 11:15 PM | October 24, 2007
-
yep, the q readers do vote the best since the arctic monkeys won best act in the world today!!!!! wooooh!

Obviously Springsteen and The East Street Band didn't play the UK until 19th December so clearly not eligible but without doubt the best live act I've ever seen. December 19th was just awesome
Posted by at 02:25 PM | December 29, 2007

Yeah, the Foo's are good, the Wembley performance was fantastic, but their music is a bit simple compared to Muse. Matts a musical genius, a modern day Mozart, their music is inspiring on all
levels..they rock the house better than any other band right now...Posted by at 12:53 PM | July 24, 2008

I am from Tanzania and too bad know English, tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "Skins bring an stunning boys department and a organization of pro-life streetcars - in 2008 spilling dizzee rascal and lesley garrett."Best regards :-D, Austin.
